Congratulations to Anish Malik for being elected to State Treasurer of Wisconsin Skills USA.    

ABC COUNTDOWN today is Disney Day- dress like your favorite Disney character.

Today’s Autism Awareness Month fact: “There are currently over 400,000 volunteers and walkers that participate in events to help support Autism Speaks. What can you do to help?”

ACT Aspire testing today for 9th grade students with the last names Smith through Ziegelbauer.

There is a meeting for all current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students that are interested in playing football on Monday, May 1st in the cafeteria at Tremper at 7:30 PM.

Medical Club- the trip to the Museum of Science and Industry for tomorrow has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.

Kenosha Public Library is looking for teen volunteers between the ages of 13-17.  Interviews will be May 10th from 6:00-8:30 pm and May 11th from 5:30-8:30 pm at the Southwest Library.  If you cannot attend the interview sessions, please call Heather Thompson at 262.564.6139.  Applications are in the office.

Kenosha Unified Youth Job Fair for all students 16 years of age and over is May 3rd at Indian Trail HS from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.  25 different employers will be seeking candidates for employment.  Put your best foot forward: *dress appropriately *do not use your cell phone when talking to an employer * be independent- do not go from table to table with friends, go alone* bring your resume-see Mr. Hittman for a resume form.

Seniors- in order to prepare for the Senior Awards Baccalaureate Breakfast, which will be held May 17th, Mrs. Anderson has a senior survey for you to fill out. Please tell us about your future plans and accomplishments while at LakeView which will be announced at the breakfast. Parents are reminded to call 359-8953 with number of people attending (parents and siblings)

Students taking the ACT Exam in June, Mrs. Lacroix and Ms. Dalka will be sponsoring a mini-ACT Boot Camp after school on May 23rd, pizza, soda, and water will be served. Please sign up with Mrs. Anderson for this mini Boot Camp and information for taking the ACT in June.
